Halo was Scott Feemster and Ian Smith. Album credits put Ian on guitar and vocals, and Scott on bass and vocals.

Ian's JuggernautPress helped with the 7" sleeves for Nothing Painted Blue's Sorely Tempted, Shrimper comp Swing Set, Refrigerator's Car Alarm, and Franklin Bruno's The Irony Engine. (And the Mountain Goats Song For Petronius, but I don't have that one so there's no index page. But John D is very happy to mention it when Ian comes up, so I'll mention it too.)

Additional notes on Ian Smith, according to the Wckr Spgt site lovingly maintained by Mark Givens:

Ian Smith has the distinction of being the only member to play three different instruments with the band. In 1982, for the Bradbury show, Ian played bass. In 1984 he played drums and, in 1985, he played guitar at Spgtfest '85. Ian was the well-versed guitar player of Halo and The Immigrants and is an accomplished hand-press printer with a degree from the Art Center of Pasadena.

Scott Feemster has been involved in some Thom Fuhrmann projects, and reportedly still has a lot of Halo material on hand. If that stuff goes up anywhere, there will be links here ASAP.
