Shoeface's lineup, start to finish, was Bob Durkee, Nathan Wilson, and Mark Hower. You can identify Shoeface on the compilations further down the page by listening for some very loud guitars, and then Bob's signature full-throated hollering of the vocals. On dedicated Shoeface releases, sometimes bassist Nathan takes over vocals, more intense and less booming. No matter who's singing, the energy stays way up.

Bob, who ran Fartblossom Enterprizes, was the recording engineer for a truly massive share of the material covered on this site. (I'm working on a running tally as I build the indexes up.) Before Shoeface, Bob was known for his work with Pillsbury Hardcore with Joel Connell (during the lifespan of Shoeface, Joel was Refrigerator's first drummer and active with proto-Man Is The Bastard group Charred Remains). More recently, Bob contributed to the archival work for desert-punk documentary Desolation Center and tells me he's also, generally, working on a book. He'd better be! If any of the Shoeface output sounds interesting, buy some stuff from Bob's Discogs storefront.

Nathan Wilson is working as Nathan Norio Wilson nowadays, though now he's a regular DJ (DJ Nat the Fly!) instead of a KSPC DJ.

Not sure what Mark Hower is up to these days.
