Traumatone releases are hard to come by, but I'd love to get ahold of more and be able to write up a page on the label. No personnel notes in the J-card for this one, only artist names.

The Nothing Painted Blue track is listed as "Missing the Point", but this is the same "Missed the Point" recording as A Day In The Park and Emotional Discipline

The Junket song, "New Song No.2" is an instrumental for the first minute and 50 seconds of its roughly 2:45 runtime, where you can hear some vocals fade in on two clear vowel noises, "aah" as in cat, and "ee" as in peel. With the tape quality and the lo fi, you can mostly make out: "aaaaaaaaaaaah, eeeeeeeeeeeeee" and some fuzzy consonant ends.  On Junket compilation S.F. Claremont Hi (Road Cone, 1996), track 14 "Bad Wheels" clocks in at 2:40, and around 1:40, drops out of its lyrics and begins stating its title: "baaaaaaaaaaad wheeeeeeeeels". My academic guess is that "New Song No.2" was an early form of "Bad Wheels". If there were lyrics on "New Song No.2", they may have been lost in the recording process in favor of the guitars.

On the old version of the site, I had lyrics transcribed for DiskothiQ compilation appearances all in one place. Here's the entry for "Lucky", with hopefully more coming later.

i laid a penny on the tracks
i got a shiny penny back
i stuck it in an envelope
and wrapped it tight with tape and hope

the mailman comes at 10 a.m.
i sit and watch the door 'til then
and when he comes he says hello
and with a wink he turns to go

[voices] a week gone by and still no sign
i see the clock i know it's time
i walk back to the tracks again
and lie down waiting for my friend

well just how long have i been here
i wake up bathed in sweat and fear
it never came well that's all right
'cause i'll be back tomorrow night
