• This is a short+sweet one. "Sara 99" is as pure Refrigerator rock as it gets.
• "Anti-Nomination", presented here as an acoustic-guitar-and-duo-vocals song, also made the Somehow EP in a more fleshed-out form. Nothing Painted Blue also covered it for the Misha Records split, also compiled on Emotional Discipline.
• On side B you get "Sandfish", a long one by Refrigerator standards. Dial in on the lyrics and then take a look at this. It's beautiful work. It'll break you clean in half.
  • Franklin Bruno references this song on Nothing Painted Blue's "Scapegoat", on Power Trips Down Lover's Lane: "heart like a starfish, quote unquote / those are the words that Allen wrote".
